Infrared Bathroom Heater

How does an infrared heater heat?
Infrared heating works differently than conventional heating systems, not with oil or gas, but with electricity. With this type of heating, the air in the room is not heated as usual, but solid bodies, such as the floor, but also the human body. The heat is absorbed, stored and gradually released back into the room. Since with this heating solution mainly the heated walls and floors are the heat accumulator in the bathroom, only a small heat loss takes place even when ventilating, since it is not the escaping room air that is responsible for the heat in the bathroom. In addition, this reduces the humidity in the bathroom and effectively prevents mold.
The practical thing about infrared heating is that it also works relatively short term and thus heats exactly when it is really needed. The radiant heat makes it possible that a room heats up much faster, because it requires little start-up time. Thus, especially in small bathrooms, it should be turned on just before the bathroom is used. This radiant heat is comparable to the heat of the sun, which is also perceived as very pleasant. At the same time there is no whirling up of dust, which is why electric radiators are the ideal solution especially for allergy sufferers.

Whether as a supplement or primary heating system, infrared heating can be used for both cases. Thus, it is the ideal supplement if you already have a radiator in the bathroom, which is not enough.
