Since the beginning of 2013, the Sauerland-based company has been manufacturing luminaires in innovative material combinations, some even with sound systems.

The company was founded in 2008. bpe:LICHT produces luminaires from innovative material combinations for interiors, bathrooms, SPA areas and design-oriented living spaces. bpe:LICHT develops and produces its luminaires independently. Thanks to the company's headquarters in the lighting stronghold of Sauerland, especially the town of Arnsberg, bpe:LICHT is able to promise short processing cycles even for customised developments or special designs. bpe:LICHT explains in its product catalogue that today one no longer works with watts to describe how bright a luminaire is. This has changed due to LED technology. Lumen is the new unit that quantifies the amount of light produced.

bpe:LICHT Series
bpe has a diverse range and different series that meet different wishes and needs. For example, you can choose how and where light should be present on the mirror surface. Furthermore, the lighting is partly mounted on the wall as well as on the ceiling. With bpe:Licht, a classic mirror luminaire placed on the mirror becomes a functional and decorative way to make your bathroom shine. Here is a small insight into the different series:

Article numbers
The structure of the article number seems unclear and confused to the outsider. bpe:LICHT, however, follows a clear line here, which we would like to explain to you. The article number 274.0400.01.02.09/99 serves as an example. The first block of digits, in this case 274, represents the product family, in this case the FLAT EH. The second block of digits, 0400, indicates the luminaire length of 400 mm. 01 indicates the surface code (chrome), 02 the light source (LED). This is followed by the power (09) and the light colour (99). The 99 mentioned there is then replaced with a 30 for the light colour 3000 Kelvin or with a 40 for the light colour 4000 Kelvin. It serves bpe:LICHT as a placeholder, so to speak.
