When it comes to sinks, it's not about the design or that it matches the rest of the room visually. Sink - what is it?

A wall-mounted sink is a multi-purpose sink with wall mounting. As the name suggests, it is mainly used to drain off dirty water of any kind or to conveniently fill a cleaning bucket or watering can, which is often not possible in a kitchen sink without problems. These functional basins have a particularly large capacity so that they can hold as much water as possible in one go. This fact offers a wide range of possibilities for their use. In addition, a tap with fresh water is usually connected to the sink. When it comes to the tap, great importance is also attached to robustness and resistance, which is why the design plays less of a central role. In most cases, it is a cold water tap. Another special feature of the sink is that the front edge is fitted with a protective rim made of wood or plastic. This rim, usually in grey or black, prevents the sink from being scratched by hard and metallic objects. In addition, the products are often equipped with a folding grate or a permanently mounted grate. Watering cans or buckets, for example, can be placed on this for a short time for filling. It therefore facilitates filling and makes it more convenient than filling in a sink.
