Shower hoses come in different variations, so the choice should be well thought out. In our online store you will find selected shower hoses from various manufacturers. Just take a look around.

Quality determines the lifetime of shower hoses

Most of the time, you don't realize how important a high-quality shower hose is until it's far too late - namely, when you're taking a shower and it no longer functions properly. The reasons for this can be cracks or dirt as well as mold in the grooves. Above all, this impairs showering pleasure, but it can also quickly lead to a high water bill due to leaks. With high-quality shower hoses, you can positively influence the lifetime and benefit significantly longer. Nevertheless, there is no way around the regular cleaning of a water hose, so as to avoid deposits of dirt or mold.

Replacing the shower hose step by step

It is not always the case that a new shower is needed right away. In addition to relocation or renovation, a water hose must also be changed for other reasons. As a rule, this is not a big effort and can be done quickly without outside help. Our instructions explain step by step how you can easily replace the shower hose yourself next time:

  • Turn the nut on the shower hose counterclockwise to disconnect it from the shower head. If the hose is too tight, you can get a pair of pliers to help. To do this, place a towel between them to avoid scratching the chrome.
  • To separate the hose from the shower fixture, also turn the union nut on the shower fixture counterclockwise.
  • Next, take the new shower hose and screw I to both the shower fitting and the shower head. You do both by turning the respective nuts clockwise this time.
  • Check if the water hose is tight and turn on the water for that. If it drips at the ends of the water hose, then you need to retighten the nuts again.
