With the Planet Edition, Hansgrohe is providing an answer to the increasing demand for ecological and resource-saving products in the sanitary sector. The series is characterised by its particular sustainability and environmental friendliness, as recycled and recyclable materials are used in the manufacture of the products. With the Planet Edition, Hansgrohe creates showering pleasure for you and for the environment, for a planet that connects us all. They simplify efficient showering and combine it with style and sustainability. Thanks to the green showering pleasure with EcoSmart Plus and a consumption of less than 6 l/min, Hansgrohe thus manages to save 60% of water consumption.
The aim of the series is to consume more consciously and thus to shower with a clear conscience. To sharpen this attitude, Hansgrohe has completely reinvented the hand shower.
Recycled materials and circular economy: keeping an eye on the environment
The manufacture of the hand shower is also part of the special contribution to the climate. Because the use of recycled and recyclable materials makes it possible to be part of the circular economy. In this way, waste does not become waste but something new. Because 100 tonnes of production waste is now turned into 30 tonnes of reusable metal for other products and 70 tonnes of recycled plastic at Hansgrohe's plant in Offenburg.
For example, Hansgrohe uses this recycled plastic to create the Pulsify Planet Edition, a hand shower made of 28% recycled plastic. In the case of the Wallstoris Planet Edition, even 95% is possible, but of course everything is still produced to Hansgrohe's well-known high quality standards. The recycled material can be found again in the handle of the hand shower as well as in the Wallstoris shelves and accessories, such as storage baskets, cups or shower squeegees. They also form the yarns of the Designflex textile shower hose.

These products have a special recycled surface. The warm, earthy surface variant creates a homely atmosphere and harmonises well with existing chrome mixers.
