Sunshower® is a Dutch company based in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Company founders Oscar Meijer and Merijn Wegdam are convinced of the positive effect of sunlight on our health. Since 2002, they have been working to further develop the company and the products in order to integrate the benefits of sunlight into the shower routine of as many people as possible in a sustainable way.
Certified quality
All Sunshower® models are made of high-quality materials and are qualified. All collections are manufactured entirely in the Netherlands. This makes it easier for Sunshower®'s team of experts to continuously review quality standards and processes and, if necessary, make adjustments. This enables Sunshower® to ensure the consistently high quality of its products and to meet the increasing quality requirements of its customers.

Research for safety
Quality, safety and the responsible use of sunlight go hand in hand for Sunshower®. The company works closely with dermatologists, health experts and scientists. Sunshower® regularly conducts studies in cooperation with renowned institutions such as Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), VU University Medical Center Amsterdam (VUMCf) and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
Over ten years ago, the Sunshower® Group founded Dermasun Medical BV with the aim of treating chronic skin diseases with a low dose of UVB light. To this end, Dermasun worked closely with Dutch dermatologists, scientists and health insurance companies. In the meantime, low-dose UVB light therapy has proven itself in the treatment of people with psoriasis and eczema. Sunshower® technology is easy to use at home.
Sunshower® also offers students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge through academic research and practical experience in the company.

Sunshower® has also been active on the German market since 2015. Over the years, the brand has become a sought-after player. Sunshower Square collection
Sunshower® Square is the first collection of Sunshower technology. It includes five models with flexible installation options. Choose between built-in or surface-mounted in three different colors. The collection includes the Deluxe and Combi models (with UV light and infrared light) as well as Pure, Pure XL and Solo (infrared light only). The installation includes ventilation ducts and ventilation grilles.
