HANSAMEDIPRO – modular system for healthcare professionals
HANSA stands for proven, high-performance products and is the European market leader for advanced sanitary faucets. As a result, they have extensive experience in the health and care sector. They have taken advantage of this experience and designed the special series of fittings HANSAMEDIPRO, with the aim of meeting all the strict hygiene and ergonomic requirements demanded in the health and care sector. Thus, the HANSAMEDIPRO faucets are perfectly suited for care facilities and clinics used by professionals. Because it is precisely here that hygiene, safety and reliability are crucial. HANSAMEDIPRO was designed in cooperation with GGT Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gerontotechnik.
Avoiding injuries with HANSAMEDIPRO
The focus of the design and equipment of the HANSAMEDIPRO faucets is the well-being of the user. HANSA developed the series primarily to help and support users with impairments in the best possible way. To protect against injuries, for example, attention was paid to rounded edges and a closed lever shape. HANSA has combined this with a modern design and the highest hygiene standards. This makes the washbasin fittings particularly user-friendly and easy to keep clean. For even cleaner use, virtually lead-free brass was chosen as the material, as it is particularly resistant. The lead content of less than 3 %, as used here, is also far below the minimum requirement.
Smart control thanks to the HANSA Connect app
The HANSA Connect app opens up even more possibilities for clever use of the faucet. With the help of the app, the washbasin fittings can be monitored and configured quickly and easily in the fitting settings. This allows you to monitor functionality and use conveniently and easily. Another hygienic advantage is the automatic flush, which can also be set via the app. These settings can also be saved and transferred to another faucet in the room.
Easy operation and more hygiene
For even more safety, the HANSAMEDIPRO thermostat is equipped with an extra safety lock, which is preset to 38 degrees Celsius at the factory. An installer can adjust the presetting in just a few steps if desired. In addition, a special hot water pipe in the thermostat protects the metal housing from heating up, so that scalding cannot occur. To ensure that young and old can use the thermostat safely, two bars on the temperature and quantity settings help with operation. They prevent the handle from slipping out of the hand. The required drinking water hygiene is also ensured, because the faucets are designed for thermal disinfection in accordance with DVGW W 551. The handle does not have to be removed for this thermal disinfection, as it is carried out with the aid of a special unlocking key
HANSAMEDIPRO FLEX hand shower
To make showering or bathing more pleasant for both the user and another person, the HANSAMEDIPRO FELX hand shower offers an innovative advantage. This hand shower has a handle that can be rotated 360 degrees. This makes it particularly flexible to use and comfortable and safe to hold. The hose of the hand shower always pulls down, so there is no need to reach around. Thanks to a handle located on the hand shower, the hand shower is specially fixed behind the back of the hand. It also has an innovative anti-calcification technology that allows the shower base to be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher.
