HANSACLINICA - Safety and comfort with HANSA

When developing its fittings, HANSA always pays attention to the user's comfort. Comfort is also the focus of the HANSACLINICA series. The design series was specially developed to help clinics and, above all, to create a safe, comfortable bathroom environment for every patient.

HANSACLINICA chrome single-lever faucet

In the HANSACLINICA single-lever mixer, this has been implemented through a generous, extra-high chrome faucet body with a projection of between 177 mm and 377 mm. The faucet for wall mounting offers the user more freedom of movement under the spout. The lever of the faucet was designed extra ergonomically, so that it can be operated with one finger as well as with the back of the hand. The choice here is between the long full lever or the bracket lever, both of which offer optimized operability. The water paths are completely nickel-free and the pipe connections are made of copper for better hygiene. For reduced risk of injury and easier cleaning, the edges are rounded. To avoid aerosol formation, the laminar jet was chosen for the spout. The basin faucet is available both with and without drain set.

The thermostats are also equipped with particularly ergonomic handles that guarantee easy and safe operation. Optionally, the thermostats can also be equipped with a long spout as well as an extra-long handle. This makes hygienic operation with the elbow possible. A hot water lock is integrated to protect against scalding; this is preset to 37° C, but can also be set between 36° C and 44° C if required. Thanks to the THERMO COOL function, the housing of the fitting does not heat up and always remains pleasantly cool, again protecting the user from scalding. For special hygiene and drinking water protection, thermal disinfection in accordance with DVGW W551 is possible. Furthermore, the concealed connections have a triple seal, which prevents germs and bacteria from settling behind the cover. 

Touchless operation of the HANSACLINICA Bluetooth thermostats

The thermostat is also available as a touchless version with Bluetooth for wall mounting, so it can be connected to the HANSA Connect app. The thermostat allows switching on and off in three different ways: manual, automatic or manual and automatic combined. In the case of the basin faucet, this means that when you approach 40 cm, the water is automatically turned on, and when you move away, it is turned off again. In the case of shower faucets, the water is activated at an approach of 5-15 cm. It remains on as long as the user moves within a radius of 40 cm, if he leaves this area, the water is automatically stopped. When switching on and off manually, the hand must be held at a distance of 5-15 cm in front of the fitting, just as it is for switching off.
