Composition of sound and wellness - the Hi-Fi thermostats by Gessi
Gessi is once again pushing the boundaries of private wellness with the Hi-Fi design range. Inspired by the history of acoustic technology for Hi-Fi stereo systems, the iconic trendy product takes shape. The exceptional aesthetics of Gessi products offer clean and essential lines. Scuptural inspiration has given rise to innovative architectural geometry. Gessi has succeeded in combining strict minimalism in design with unparalleled functional ergonomics. Thus, they have developed precision controls reminiscent of tactile sensations of old stereo systems. Clicking on the slightly protruding function activation buttons gives that typical old feeling. In terms of sustainability, Gessi has also taken care to keep water consumption low when activating multiple functions without disrupting the showering experience. The design line includes 4 different versions of the control panel: Compact, Linear, Mixer and Shelf, in addition also a shower hose that goes with it and a shower column.
Hi-Fi Compact – innovative geometry
Like all Hi-Fi thermostats, Hi-Fi Compact is a thermostat with temperature and water volume control. This controls one, two or three consumers, such as a hand shower, rain shower and/or surge shower. When choosing which symbols to include on the buttons, Gessi has designed 11 small symbols. You can decide for yourself which consumers you want to connect and which symbols should be on the buttons. For easier handling and for the archetypal flair of the stereo, the surface of the rotary controls for water quantity and temperature is ribbed. The temperature control knob also has anti-scald protection in the form of a push button, which needs to be pressed simultaneously for higher temperatures.
Other Hi-Fi designs
The thermostatic bar Hi-Fi Linear is an elongated, horizontally mountable thermostat, which has controls for water strength and temperature. Two to five consumers can be connected to this ready-mounted set. Simultaneous activation of applications is also possible here. Another square thermostat, similar to the Hi-Fi Compact, is the Hi-Fi Mixer, but instead of the water and temperature controls, this one has a mixer where both can be adjusted. This thermostat is available for one, two or three consumers. The top push buttons can be used to activate the applications as with the other thermostats. The Hi-Fi Shelf thermostat is the only thermostat with an integrated shelf. Its design is reminiscent of the Hi-Fi Linear thermostat, but it is equipped with a shelf made of black ESG smoked glass. This thermostat is available for two to five consumers.
Hi-Fi shower column, the complete system
All Gessi thermostats can be combined with the matching anti-limestone hand shower from Gessi. It is available in the same color selection as the thermostats. Optionally, the hose can be combined in matt black. The hand shower can be simply hung on the magnetic holder on the wall connection elbow, which means that no additional holder for the hand shower is required. This hand shower is also a part of the Hi-Fi shower column. The shower column consists of a sliding bar with the magnetic hand shower and a shelf at the end of the column. The wall plate as well as the shelf are made of black ESG smoked glass.
